Highlights..er lowlights if you will...include Mike & I getting the flu on Christmas night. Looking at a 10:00 am flight to Montana the next morning we weren't sure we could rally. In the end, we took a later flight out that day and made it. Travelling with 2 kids on an airplane with the flu is definitely not something I would like to do again. That said, we did feel good enough the last day there to take Corbin out sledding. It was amazing to see how much he had grown over the last year. Instead of looking like a little boy all bundled up needing help walking up the hills, he looked like a kid and was more than happy to run up the hill to go sledding again.
Garrett loved trying to eat all of the bows, lights, etc. When we first set up the tree, he couldn't crawl. Now, he is in to everything!
Double checking Santa can get down the chimney and get his milk & cookies.
Christmas Eve in front of the tree.
The cabinet hardware was more interesting than presents.
Trying to get him to pay attention.
All geared up for sledding.
3 Generations of Elliott men.
Garrett has learned how to smile as soon as the camera comes out.
All Christmas events are over and poor Uncle Wes is exhausted.
Setting = going through security at the airport.
Corbin, pointing to a power outlet covered in yellow and black caution tape "What is that?"
Mike: "It is a power outlet."
Corbin: "Is it a bomb?"
Mike & Kirsten to each other: "Did he REALLY just say that!?"
Kirsten, "No. In fact, let's play the quiet game. I bet you can't be silent until we're on the other side of those machines."
Corbin, "Yes I can. Watch."
Thankfully no TSA agents came up to us to inquire any further about Corbin's question. However, at least 2 days were spent thinking about what prompted a bomb to be top of mind with him.
