The excitement in our house today and this evening was amazing! This morning got off to a rough start with Corbin not really wanting to go to the Halloween party at Miss Tracey's. He didn't even want to bring his costume this morning. But, once he saw his friend Ella bring her costume in to Miss Tracey's too, he was hooked. All the way home from Miss Tracey's, he shouted (yes...shouted) "I'm so excited!"
After grabbing a quick dinner, we headed out to the neighborhood which was way more busy than last year. Mike & I discovered that the house 2 doors down gives out apple cider spiked with Yukon Jack to the "close neighbors." Glad we got to know those neighbors, but too bad I had "virgin apple cider."
Corbin did a GREAT job trick or treating. At the first house he was a little shy, but quickly caught on and was yelling, "Trick or Treat!" as soon as anyone opened the door. Anytime someone gave him more than 1 piece, he gave them a very confused look. After every house, he'd say, "Let's go to another candy house!" Our next walk around the neighborhood will probably come with some explaning. One of my favorite parts of the night was watching Corbin run down the sidewalk shouting, "To Infimawy and Beyond!"
