As many of you local blog readers are well aware, we're in the middle of a brutal heatwave. OK, I'll admit, it's not that brutal for non-Seattleites. If you live in Atlanta, you'd feel right at home. Today the high temp was 107 degrees at our house and it's rather humid. Official reading at Sea-Tac was something like 102, but the car and iGoogle (which I live by) both said 107 for our house.
To beat the heat, we've been taking Corbin in the sprinkler. It's as much for us as it is for him, we're not ashamed to admit. The first time he wasn't too sure about this whole "raining on purpose thing", but tonight he really got into it. Now, every time we water the lawn, he reaches out for the water. It's super cute.

Feeling all cooled off and refreshed.
