- Verbal: Right at 10 months, he finally said "Mom Mom" in a happy voice, rather than just while crying.
- Locomotion: He graduated from the "back of the head scoot" to doing a leapfrog sort of move as his favorite way to get around the room.
- On Thursday, a matter of minutes after Grandma and Grandpa showed up, he got on all fours and crawled a couple "steps". He's now off and crawling all over the house. Thank goodness he stayed slow until all of the nails were off the floor (see previous post).
- Playtime: He's also way more interactive these days. Loves to play peekaboo, roll the ball back and forth (we roll, he swats it until it moves somewhere) and he also loves to look at you and do a fake laugh just to see if you'll laugh back.
- Grunting--he used to just do a quick grunt while in the garage with Mike. It has now escalated and he grunts to hard that he gets tomato faced. This, of course, is mimicked by Grandpa and thus continues. It's hilarious!
Finally, Happy First Father's Day, Mikee! Transitioning to parenthood has been a wild ride and hearing him giggle and seeing him start to really play with us is amazing! You're a great Daddy.
