We went to the Dr. for his 4 month check up, and his stats are:
Height: 25 1/2"
Weight: 16 lbs. 2 oz.
Head circ. 17 in.
All stats are in the 75th percentile for babies his age. He's made up a lot of ground since he was born at only the 10th percentile for both height and weight. We also learned that his language development is about 1 month ahead of schedule. Who knew that blowing "raspberries" would be the thing that sends him to the head of the class?
We also got the go ahead to start some solid foods. Rice cereal and peas (in order to help keep constipation away). So, right after we ate dinner, Mike assembled highchair (or, "feeding station", according to Mike) and we got Corbin all strapped in. He wasn't too happy at first, so we gave him a couple ounces of formula before we gave the cereal the 'ol college try. He wasn't too keen on the cereal, but loved the peas. I thought that if he took a couple spoonfuls, we'd have success. He downed half the container of peas, and the whole bowl (ok, so it was like 5 tablespoons worth) of cereal.
Before...

During...realizing this food stuff is pretty good!

The after-mess. Not as bad as I had expected.

And, the milk drunk little dude after his bedtime bottle....
