Family Resemblance & 15 months

I haven't had a lot of time to blog lately, so am going to combine some posts to catch up.

When Garrett was very little, I posted pictures of him and Mike.  As all babies do, he has changed a LOT since then.  One thing has remained the same - he looks a lot more like Mike than he does me.  I was going through some old pictures and found these two.

Garrett, 14 months

Garrett is definitely keeping us on our toes these days.  He has recently decided to scream when he is not getting his way, or asked not to do something.  This scream is fueled by Corbin when he responds with laughing, or screaming back.  Since Corbin gets a time out for screaming in the house, so does Garrett.  The thing is, it makes Corbin quiet down.  A time out fuels Garrett's screaming.  Thank goodness our neighbors also have small children, so likely don't notice the noises of controlled chaos coming from our open windows on summer evenings.

He is also beginning to learn his words.  His vocabulary so far includes "Go", "Whoa!" "Hi", "Dat!"  Like Corbin, he started using his sign language when I was about to give up.  Although, "more" to Garrett is also, "Please".  The only difference is the cute grin on his face when he is saying "please" since he knows he will then get what he wants.
