Puyallup Fair

Who's having more fun; Ainsley & Corbin in the car, or the Daddy's following them?
This weekend, we headed out to the Puyallup Fair, a tradition that Peg and I used to do every year with our uncle and one that we want to carry on with our kids.  To stick with tradition, we stopped for scones immediately.  Much to my delight, Corbin only ate 1/2 of his.  I couldn't let it go to waste so took one for the team and ate the other half.

When I was a kid, I used to hate going through the barns, looking at the Hobby Hall and exploring all of the vendors opting for going straight to the rides.  But, seeing the amazement in Corbin's eyes when seeing a real horse and real cows up close was by far better than any ride.

That said, no trip to the Fair would be complete without going down the big slide with Corbin (he insisted on going up all 100+ stairs to the top all by himself, making one EXHAUSTED toddler at the top), and putting Corbin and Ainsley in a mini-car just so we could get some cute pictures.

'Til next year....
