Things I'm going to miss
- A lack of furniture and no stairs in the house, means no need for baby gates.
- Because we have such little furniture, the house is basically 100% toddler proof.
- If anything breaks in the house, it gets fixed with a phone call. No tools or Honey Do lists needed
- We packed as if we were going on a 3 week vacation; Picking out outfits has been a breeze.
- Sesame Street On Demand. Elmo is now a religion in our house. We're getting rid of our Comcast DVR, and going back to Tivo in the new house. Sesame Street Season Pass, here we come!
Things I'm NOT going to miss
- Having only 1 cutting board. Washing a cutting board 2 or 3 times while preparing dinner gets old pretty fast.
- Having a thermostat where 68 degrees means 71 degrees, but 67 means 64 degrees.
- The large piece of cardboard in front of the fireplace to keep the insane draft from the chimney (there's no flew).
- Wanting to do something adventurous and then realizing our gear for that is in the POD.
- Living in a house with windows so un-insulated that we can hear the neighbor's phone ringing inside our house.
Hopefully my next post will be from our new house!

Congrats in advance on the closing tomorrow. So exciting! Way to be a trooper in the rental over the past few months. A new luxury home will be yours tomorrow! :)
