Road trip!

Mike had most of last week off because he starts a new job tomorrow. To fill these days off he and Corbin hopped in the car for some quality daddy and Corbin time and headed to Montana. Not only did he get quality Corbin time, I got quality Garrett time. It is amazing how quiet our house is when there is only 1 kid running around. Unfortunately  the only pictures I got were the few that Mike sent.

Corbin had a great time on the road trip. A few highlights:

1) he learned the wonderfulness of dipping French fries in a Wendy's frosty. He calls it "daisy's".  

2) He got to go fishing and boating in October. 

3) he watched the first Star Wars and is hooked. He wants a real light saber and has now all in with his Star Wars Legos. 

4) he learned how to tie his shoes, and the difference between a square knot granny knot. 

Garrett truly missed his brother. Each morning he would point at Corbin's car seat and scream at me as if I was forgetting him. Each evening he would walk around the house looking for him. When they finally came home Garrett was super excited. He kept hugging and tugging on Corbin. It was one of those moments where it is truly wonderful to have 2 kids.
