Happy 1 Month, Garrett

We've made it -- one month in with 2 kids.  Corbin is still a fantastic, doting big brother and perks up everytime he sees his baby brother.  He loves to show him off to his friends at daycare.  The other day, Garrett had just woken up so was of course crying.  Corbin ran up to him and said, "What's going on here?  you have no reason to throw a fit.  Mommy, you'd better feed him so he'll stop screaming."  I wonder where he got that?!

This week, we took Garrett to his 1 month well baby visit at the pediatrician.  These appointments are definitely more like a report card for the parents than a check up for the baby.  The real question that is answered is, can we continue as is or do we need to take one or more detours to insure the health and growth of Garrett?  We're pleased to report we get to continue as is.  He got a clean bill of health and is gaining and growing as he should. 

His latest stats:

• 8 lbs. 14 oz., a full 3 lbs more than his birth weight.  Born in the 15th percentile, and now in the 25th percentile. 
• 21" tall, which is also in the 25th percentile for baby boys his age.
