Last Friday, our daycare had a Family BBQ, a wonderful chance to actually talk to (and learn the names of) all the parents we see daily and drop off and pick up. It's strange to realize that we know their children, but don't know them very well at all.
While I was getting Corbin's hot dog ready, someone asked if I needed the ketchup. I said, "No, he doesn't eat ketchup, not even with french fries." To which his teacher responded, "Yes he does! He eats it all the time here. We've even caught him eating it by the spoonful." And all this time I thought we had the strange kid that doesn't like ketchup.
