Catching up

We had the luxury of having a weekend without any plans.  After what seems like months of non-stop craziness we weren't sure what to do with ourselves.  And, after a crazy week of work, complete with 3 executive presentations for me and a project post-mortem with the execs for Mike, a weekend of with no plans was just what the Dr. ordered.  With the house cleaned and laundry done on Saturday, we did anything we could to stay outside today since it was so beautiful out.  The morning called for a mowed lawn and some other yardwork.  It was so nice to putz around in our new yard and do some exploring in all the nooks and crannies of the backyard in the sun.  Even though Peg, Wes & the girls live only a mile away, I realized we hadn't met them at the park that's 1/2 way between our houses yet.  So after the kiddos were up from thier naps, we hiked up to the park and let the kids run and play.  Watching them play on the toys made us very excited for upcoming trip to Seabrook in May.

The weekend was lazy enough that I didn't bring my camera anywhere, so these pictgures from Corbin playing in the backyard last weekend with have to suffice.  I really must get better at grabbing more pictures.

The pink ball...one of about 10 that litter the backyard at any given time.
