This past weekend was one of those weekends with the perfect mix of fun and productivity. With plenty of sunshine on Saturday, we started off with washing the cars, met Peg, Wes and the girls at the park, and then had a BBQ with Bonnie, Eric and Logan. With more sunshine in the forecast for Sunday, we headed into Seattle for a "Touch a Truck" event. It was at Magnussen Park, and had garbage trucks, semis, tractors, and a fire truck all open for kids to explore. Unfortunately, we got there at the same time as the rest of Seattle and the lines to actually explore the trucks were really long. Corbin wasn't so sure about standing in line with all of those people.

So, we headed back to the Eastside to our favorite park and had a picnic. What's a picnic in the park without stopping for ice cream on your way home?
