Leavenworth, 2009

Christmas came early this year. This year's present to us from Mom was a weekend away in Leavenworth. She rented a beautiful log cabin with an excellent view of the mountains. We were joined by Peg, Wes & the girls. We were going to head down to the tree lighting which is one of the highlights of going to Leavenworth this time of year, but it was super cold (like 15 degrees) and sitting in front of the roaring fire Wes built with a nice glass of wine watching the kids play sounded a lot more enjoyable. This weekend definitely brought out the laziness in all of us. Here are a few picture highlights....
